Dr Ted Yu

Dr Ted Yu graduated from University of Otago in New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2011. He has worked as a dental house surgeon at the Dental School and Dunedin Public hospital alongside Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons where he has gained valuable surgical, emergency, and special care skills. Before dentistry, Ted taught several years of Chemistry and Statistics at University of Otago. In early 2013 Ted moved to Melbourne and has since worked as a private dentist in various locations including The Bays Dental In Beaumaris, and other dentals in Mornington, Ringwood, Hampton Park and Cowes. Ted enjoys all areas of general dentistry, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, and helping people achieve a smile they feel confident sharing. Ted is always busy with continuing professional development and is committed to evidence based dentistry, while holding the view that effective communication is vital to good patient relationships. Ted speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Taiwanese. When Ted is not busy working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children and his love of electronics.
